LAS PALMAS ELEMENTARY

Estimados Padres,                                

 

¡Estoy encantada en introducirme a ustedes como la maestra de Kinder de su hijo/a!  Mi nombre es Anna Green y estoy honrada de ser la maestra de su hijo/a.  Estoy muy entusiasmada de tener la oportunidad de trabajar con sus niños, al igual con ustedes. 

 

Me gustaría contarles un poco acerca de mi.  Tengo un esposo y dos hijas; una tiene cuatro años y la otra tiene dos años.  Yo crecí en Laguna Niguel; la mitad de mi familia es de California y la otra es de México.  Yo disfruto caminar en las montañas, correr, andar en bicicleta, ir a la playa, pintar, viajar, y mi actividad favorita es la yoga.  

 

Sabía que yo quería ser una maestra por muchos años.  Me gradué de la Universidad Estatal de San Diego (SDSU), con especializaciones en la Educación Primaria y Español.  Durante mis estudios de bachillerato, tuve la oportunidad de estudiar un año en el extranjero en la Univeserdad de Madrid (Complutense), España.  

 

He enseñado tercer grado, segundo grado, y Kinder.  ¡Este es mi décimo año  enseñando y mi noveno año en Kinder en Las Palmas!

 

Tengo una pasión de enseñar a los niños de Kinder.  Pienso que ser una maestra es mi llamado en la vida, nada me da tanta satisfación.  ¡Yo sé que este año va a ser diferente, pero va a ser divertido!  Estoy muy entusiasmada por todas las cosas que su hijo/a estará aprendiendo durante el transcurso de este año.  ¡Especialmente espero trabajar con su familia y compartir en la educación y el crecimiento de su hijo/a!  Si tienen cualquier pregunta o inquietud favor de llamarme en la escuela: (949) 234-5333 o mandarme un correo electrónico a: amgreen@capousd.org.

Dear Parents,

 

I am absolutely delighted to introduce myself as your child’s Kindergarten teacher! My name is Anna Green and I am honored to be a part of making a difference in your child’s life!  I am looking forward to working with you and your child this school year!

 

I would like to share a little bit about myself.  I am married and have two daughters; my oldest is four and my youngest is two.  I grew up in Laguna Niguel; half of my family is from California and half is from Mexico.  I enjoy hiking, running, bicycling, going to the beach, painting, traveling, singing, and my favorite activity is yoga! 

 

I knew I wanted to be an elementary teacher for quite some time and graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) where I double majored in Elementary Education and Spanish.  During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to study abroad at the University of Madrid (Complutense) in Spain for one year.  I have taught third grade, second grade, and Kindergarten.  This will be my tenth year teaching and my ninth year teaching Kinder at Las Palmas! 

 

 

I have a passion for teaching Kindergarten students!  I believe being a teacher is my calling in life, nothing gives me more joy!  I know that this year will be different, but it will be a year full of fun!  I am so excited about all the wonderful things your child will be learning.  I am especially looking forward to working with your family and sharing in the education and growth of your child!
