¡Bienvenidos a primer grado!

¡Saludos a nuestras familias maravillosas!

Welcome to First Grade!

Hello wonderful families! I am delighted to have your child in my class this year!! Even though this year will be different, we are going to make it an amazing year together. First grade is fun and fabulous!

I cannot wait to meet and get to know each one of you and your families. In the meantime, here is a little something about myself. I was born in Mexico City, but my entire family comes from a very small, rural town in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. I came to California when I was nine years old and started fourth grade at R.H. Dana. From there, I moved on to Marco Forster Junior High, and Capistrano Valley High School, all wonderful schools in our district. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Irvine and my master’s degree from California State University, Fullerton. I am a lifelong learner and find absolute joy in learning along with the children. I have a 19 year old son who attended Las Palmas as a little boy. He also went to Marco Forster Middle School and went on to graduate from San Juan Hills High School with the Seal of Biliteracy. Family is very important to me, and it is currently one of the things that I miss the most during this time.

See you soon in our virtual classroom!
